We had a beautiful fireplace, but unfortunately it leaked a lot of air, so Dennis decided to remedy the situation !!!

We, personally, like this better than the fireplace and rock. We use it a lot more, it doesn't leak air, and it doesn't raise our gas bill !!!!!

GREAT post... I love that- seeing the project coming along. I wish I was as handy as Dennis... maybe someday he'll come and teach me (or us ;) a few things!! The fireplace sure was pretty, but how great to be able to save $$ and have something so practical instead!!
