Family is a blessing....

For Labor Day weekend, we were blessed to have Uncle Don and Aunt Donna come for a visit. We missed Aunt Carol and Uncle James, but thank them for sending their spouses !!

Carter found out that he needs glasses to help him read, he is not thrilled with the "look" but allowed us to take a picture of him (kind of !!) The glasses have been a real blessing for him though, they just interfere with his vanity !!
He prefers this "look" for himself !! He has moved up from a Honda 70 to a Yamaha 125....our baby is SO grown-up now. We have mixed emotions to say the least.

Dylan excited that he had people willing to try out his game....he has been blessed with a complex mind, unfortunately he lives with a bunch of simple-minded people !!!!!

He has become so handsome (says his Mother !!)

Carter has been busy building a "tree house" in the rafters of our shed....we are lacking any trees large enough to hold anything !! He made his "tree house" manly by adding pellet guns. They become "men" much too quickly (again...according to his Mother !!)

Dennis has allowed Dylan to plant a garden, he attempted to do the hard work, but Cody took over !! They do work very well together. Brotherly love !!

Cody is filling-in for Dennis' physical therapist...until it hurt too badly !!! Poor Dennis, he is struggling to straighten his knee. Prayerfully someday soon.

Cody is ready to go dirt-biking...the backyard will work (for now)....

It is very HARD to believe that our son is almost 16 years old, until I see pictures like this one...it makes it hard to live in denial at this point !!

My four boys have decided that I need to be a "dirt-biking Mama" !! My quad. just wasn't quite working out (for them, anyway !!)

My mother's day gift from my boys....a new Honda !! I match Carter now !! I just have to learn to enjoy (I mean....ride) my gift !!!!

Grandma Dot came for a visit, it was a nice visit, she would kill me if she saw this picture...but we get a kick out of where she falls asleep and when (in the middle of conversations or putting puzzles together !!) She keeps us smiling !!!

Jefferey and Gabby (our birds) were quite taken by Grandma Dot !!! She was uncertain, but they were quite comfy !!!

Cody showing off his "bling"....he was awarded this years MVP for the Nampa Calvary Crusdaers basketball team !! We are VERY proud of him, it has taken a lot of hard work, dedication, and God's blessing him to reach this point.
