came away with a bunker instead....leave it to
boys !!

"The Big Easy"...New Orleans.....

Dennis' work sent him to New Orleans and I
was blessed to go along with him...we had a
nice time. The Mississippi River is behind us.


We took a walk to the famous Bourbon Street...



The horse-drawn carriages were neat to see....




but...the rest of Bourbon Street was not worth
seeing (especially if you have any morals !!)




It made me appreciate our conservative state
of Idaho !!! The one blessing during our walk
to Bourbon Street: Mardi Gras was still 2 weeks
away !!



Jazz is huge there...as the statue behind Dennis
shows. It seemed there was jazz music playing
everywhere we went, which was neat (and we
are not even Jazz fans !!)



The view out our hotel room window....it made
us want to be on the Carnival ship again !!

We were all happy to have Grandma Dot,
Auntie Donna & Uncle James with us for
CHRISTmas...along with Grandma & Grandpa !!

and basketball with the boys in the snow !!

all these years....the tables are now
turned !!!!



Personally....I think he's kind of cute !!!

Dylan's new "love" !!

Dylan has been blessed...he has been praying
for some contact with a horse, he has wanted
to get his hands on a horse for some time now.
The Lord opened the door....Dylan now takes
riding lessons once a week for 22 weeks
through our homeschool group !!!


Dylan rides "Abby" every week...he loves her
and the whole riding experience !! It has been
a blessing to watch his whole face light up when
he's on Abby !!!
