No school...a snow day !!

Cody and Dylan decided to bury one another in the snow.....the wind pushed the snow up against
our garage door, it was up to 22 inches high.....too tempting for a boy not to play in !!!

We have heard from our Northern California family members, they are also enjoying the white "stuff" in their neck of the woods !!!

Cody and Dylan tried to make a snowman, but
came away with a bunker instead....leave it to
boys !!


Carter wants to make a square igloo....

creative !!

"The Big Easy"...New Orleans.....

Dennis' work sent him to New Orleans and I
was blessed to go along with him...we had a
nice time. The Mississippi River is behind us.


We took a walk to the famous Bourbon Street...



The horse-drawn carriages were neat to see....




but...the rest of Bourbon Street was not worth
seeing (especially if you have any morals !!)




It made me appreciate our conservative state
of Idaho !!! The one blessing during our walk
to Bourbon Street: Mardi Gras was still 2 weeks
away !!



Jazz is huge there...as the statue behind Dennis
shows. It seemed there was jazz music playing
everywhere we went, which was neat (and we
are not even Jazz fans !!)



The view out our hotel room window....it made
us want to be on the Carnival ship again !!
